Privacy Policy
MaineWebsite.Design ("we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect on mainewebsite.design, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Last updated: July 2026
Information we collect
Information you give us. When you request a free mockup or contact us through a form on this site, we collect the details you choose to provide — typically your name, email address, phone number, the type of business or industry you're in, your location, and any message you send. If you leave a field blank, we simply don't receive it.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we automatically collect basic technical and usage data when you visit — such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, and how you arrived at the site. We use this to understand how the site is used and to improve it.
Cookies and analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to measure site traffic and see which pages are useful. Google Analytics sets cookies and processes usage data on our behalf. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies on this site.
You can control or block cookies in your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics with Google's opt-out browser add-on. Blocking cookies won't affect your ability to use the site.
How we use your information
- To respond to your inquiry, prepare a mockup, and provide the quote or service you requested.
- To communicate with you about your project or request.
- To operate, maintain, and improve this website.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.
Service providers we use
We rely on a few trusted third-party services to run the site and handle inquiries:
- Formspree — processes and delivers the mockup/contact form submissions to us.
- Google Analytics — anonymous website-usage measurement (described above).
These providers only receive the information needed to perform their function and are bound by their own privacy terms.
How long we keep it
We keep inquiry and project information only as long as needed to respond to you and provide the services you've requested, plus a reasonable period for our records. You can ask us to delete your information at any time (see below).
Data security
This site is served over encrypted HTTPS, and we take reasonable measures to protect the information you share. No method of transmission or storage is ever 100% secure, but we work to keep your data safe.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information you've provided, or ask us to stop contacting you. Just email jeremy@lizzotte.com and we'll take care of it.
Children's privacy
This site is intended for business owners and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the "Last updated" date above.
